Make it Home

Please Join us from 11:00-12pm for an introductory training at Make It Home on 3/25. If you have taken the introductory training within the past 4 months no need to do it again. From 12:00-1pm you will then get to help on a project they have planned for that day. In the past we have assembled kitchen and cleaning kits, packaged living room and bedroom ensembles and repaired or painted furniture. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to help our homeless families in Marin and spend time with your Woodland Sponsors friends.

Community Service Drive - "Having Fun While Doing Good!"

Woodland Sponsors’ philanthropic efforts support charities serving Marin County children. We strive to shine a light where we can effect the most impact. This fall we’re partnering with Marin Foster Care for a collection drive with a “Back To School” emphasis.

We will participate in a giving campaign with opportunities for every member to get involved. From chances to purely come socialize with fellow members, to bringing or sending a wagon load of donations. The level of participation is up to you & meant to emphasize commingling & fun while illustrating the power of community, intention & focus.

We’ve been provided a list of priority items MFC has identified as their greatest needs. The items we supply will be donated to their Community Resource Center, which is designed to serve minors within the dependency system, children aging out of foster care into transitional living situations & the foster families that support them.

Gathering items will begin now & run through Tuesday, October 28th.

On Tuesday, we will deliver & organize our offerings to the

Marin Foster Care offices55 Mitchell Blvd., Suite 2, San Rafael,

10:00 am ~ noon.

For those interested, an inspiring tour & details of partnerships & support MFC has cultivated will be available to us.

This campaign follows the footprint of last year’s holiday drive benefiting Adopt A Family.

MFC’s requests are all available on Amazon, although if you’re passing through Target, & find something on sale, pick up a handful.

If you’d like to participate, details of our drive & links to Sign Up Genius are available on the attached sheet below.

Thank you for your open heart, your energy & compassion.

I hope the hard work from the Woodland Sponsors leadership team is bringing you Joy.
