Woodland Sponsors’ years long love affair with Make It Home was re-affirmed on March 25th. Ten Woodland Sponsors members attended the work day and were introduced to the new 11,000 square foot warehouse in Novato. After the hour long volunteer training, many stayed to serve on a work shift. Our members learned about engaging and new programs like “triage”, "Pop Up Shop" and evening design competition, "Home Star". In addition, Make It Home introduced a brand new Upholstery Training Program, which will offer opportunities for aging-out foster youth to gain hands on experience while developing trade and business skills

We are planning a quarterly field trip to Make It Home for anyone interested in keeping their volunteer certification current.
